Background
I am a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota, where I completed my B.A. degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. In choosing my upper-division track, my degree had an emphasis in artificial intelligence. Notably, this track also included a sound background in machine learning and statistics. Overall, my degree was focused on back-end development. Even with the knowledge I hold from my degree, there is a great deal more that I don't know. In my belief that there is always more to learn, I am excited to add to my computer science and mathematics background as a software engineer.
Outside of my academic work, I enjoy being active! Fitness and music have always been a part of my life. Luckily, I was able to conveniently combine the two as a member of the University of Minnesota Marching Band while completing my degree. This fantastic group of 325+ members provided an unmatched positive dynamic. We were held to the highest standard as students, enabling us to perform together at the highest level for thousands of gopher fans. I will forever be grateful for the band and all the things I have learned from my time as a member! In the future, I look to stay physically active and as involved in music as possible.
My plan for the near future is to gain invaluable developer experience to complement my education in theory. Down to the core, my interest lies in developing technology for meaningful improvements in the lives of people. The exciting part is that this goal can cross many industries!
